The Board of Finance held the second in their series of budget workshops on Monday, March 9th. The workshop covered just the Board of Education budget request for the upcoming year. The Board has asked for a significant increase (> 3%) in their budget for the upcoming year. I would expect the BOE will be getting significantly less than that amount in the upcoming budget.
