This episode of Bottom Line was taped the night after the Board of Finance made its recommendations for the 2009-2010 budget to the Mayor. The Board recommended revenues of $79M and expenditures of $81M. The Mayor and Town Council were told to find a way to bridge the gap between those 2 numbers.
Despite some technical difficulties at the ETV studios we have had a, mostly, successful kickoff to Bottom Line. The first episode has aired on ETV and the remaining episodes will air in the near future. All episodes are online on the Vimeo video service. The last episode, discussing the Board of Finance activity, is presented below. We will be back on the air with the Mayor's presentation to the Town Council, and their subsequent deliberations, in early April.
